Create an OPC UA method

Create an OPC UA method and then edit its code in an external code editor.
Prerequisites
Set the default external code editor. See #.
  1. To create an OPC UA method
  2. Either:
    • Create a NetLogic. See #.
    • In
      Project view
      , find a NetLogic to extend with a new method.
  3. Right-click a NetLogic and select
    New
    Method
    .
    The external code editor opens. The following code is added in the NetLogic: 
    [ExportMethod]
public void MethodName()
{

}
  4. (Optional) Rename the method in C#.
Develop the code of the method.
