Customize standard units of measure

Customize measurement units at the project level to use different measurement systems for each desired quantity.
  1. In
    Project view
    , select the project root node.
  2. In
    Properties
    , after
    Measurement systems map
    , select
    Editor icon
    Edit with Measurement system editor
    .
  3. In the title bar of the
    MeasurementSystemMap
     that opens in the center of the screen, select
    Add icon in black
     to add a new row to the map table.
  4. In the
    From
     column, select the input quantity of interest or the value from the sensor.
    The selected units of measure will be translated to the equivalent quantity for the different locales in the three remaining columns.
  5. In the
    International System of Units
    ,
    US Customary Measurement System
    , and
    British Imperial Units columns
    , select the desired target measurement units.
Measurement units are customized for each quantity and locale in the project.
