Track file downloads

Configure a UI Session event to track started file downloads in web presentation engine sessions.
Prerequisites
  1. Create a
    UISession
    #
     object by right-clicking
    UI
     and selecting
    New
    UISession
    #
    .
  2. Create a web presentation engine and associate a UI Session with the web presentation engine.
    For more information about presentation engines configuration, see Configure a web presentation engine.
  3. Implement the Download file method into the application logic.
  1. To track file downloads
  2. In
    Project view
    , select a
    UISession
    #
     (type)
     object associated with a web presentation engine.
  3. In
    Events
    , associate a method to trigger when a file download starts in a web presentation engine session:
    1. Next to
      DownloadFileStartedEvent
      , select
      +
      .
    2. Select and configure method to trigger when file download starts.
      For more information about the available methods, see Methods.
    For example, display a confirmation dialog when file download starts.
    TIP: You can also implement handlers for download
    Operation ID
     and
    Result
     codes into your application logic. For more information, see DownloadFileStartedEvent.
