Overhead reduction

You reduce overhead by centralizing logic and eliminating redundancy.
  • You can replace
    Complex DynamicLinks
with customized scripts to centralize data processing if the
    Complex DynamicLinks
    become way too impactful.
    TIP:
    NetLogic
may significantly impact the application start.
    The following example compares a
    Key-value converter
    with an equivalent
    NetLogic
implementation. The converter maps input ranges to string values. A
    NetLogic
method can produce the same result with centralized logic.
Project view with KeyValueConverter1 selected under Converters. The editor
shows Keys and Values columns where values 0 through 10 map to low, 11
through 20 map to mid, and 21 and higher map to high.
Use this approach when multiple dynamic links apply the same mapping logic. A single
    NetLogic
method is easier to reuse and maintain than repeating the same converter logic across objects.
    [ExportMethod] public void CheckRange(int value, out string range) { if (value < 10) { range = "low"; } else if (value < 20) { range = "mid"; } else { range = "high"; } }
  • Aggregate shared variables across multiple objects to reduce redundancy.
