Onboarding A New User

To onboard a user to
FactoryTalk Energy Manager
, User should have access to the
FactoryTalk Energy Manager
 service and
FactoryTalk DataMosaix
 service. FTEM-Editor role should be assigned in the
FactoryTalk DataMosaix
.
IMPORTANT:
For the existing users, it is highly recommended to change from the
Data Scientist
 role to the
FTEM-Editor
 for a better user experience and accessibility.
IMPORTANT:
  • FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     service-level role and
    FactoryTalk DataMosaix
     FTEM-Editor role are required for any new user to access the
    FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     application.
  • Users already having
    FactoryTalk Hub
     organization-level roles can access the
    FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     application, but they cannot perform any changes in the user management section of
    FactoryTalk Hub
     until or unless they are assigned the
    FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     –
    FactoryTalk DataMosaix
     service-level roles.
  • If the user has an organization-level role and the
    FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     service-level role, still they require the
    FactoryTalk DataMosaix
     FTEM-Editor role to access the
    FactoryTalk Energy Manager
     application.
