Unassign an I/O Device
In the Devices explorer, you can right-click on an assigned safety I/O device and choose
Unassign to move the device back to the Unassigned folder and later reassign it to another
safety controller.
IMPORTANT:
When you unassign a safety I/O device, the SNN is
cleared. A new SNN is automatically assigned when you reassign the safety I/O device to a
safety controller.
