Workstation Functionality

The PowerFlex 535 Demo Workstation provides a compact, hands-on platform for demonstrating drive control, machine integration, and EtherNet/IP connectivity. Designed for customer demonstrations, technical training, and product familiarization, the workstation combines a PowerFlex 535 drive (with encoder), PointMax I/O, integrated control devices, and a low-voltage motor load in a self-contained package.

Users can interact with physical push buttons to start, stop, and change motor direction while observing drive operation and I/O interaction in real time. The workstation highlights key capabilities such as motor control, parameter configuration, EtherNet/IP communications, and distributed I/O integration. Its portable design provides a safe, repeatable environment for demonstrating common application scenarios, commissioning procedures, and troubleshooting techniques.

A CE-compliant version of this workstation will also be available for customers in the EMEA region. Customers requiring a workstation that meets applicable CE requirements should order ABT-MDPF535-CE.
