Events and methods
An event is a runtime message that indicates that a certain condition has occurred. Events can trigger methods that create application logic.
Method triggers
An object can trigger a method when:

- An event occurs at runtime
- C# NetLogic calls a method
- A request from an OPC UA client occurs at runtime
- A C# method calls at design time or at runtime
     TIP:
You can associate multiple methods with a single event. When the event occurs, the methods are executed in the order in which they are configured in the event.
Examples

  | Event | Method |
|---|---|
| A button is clicked | A PDF report generates |
| A variable exceeds a set value | An alarm triggers |
| A request from an OPC UA client occurs | A database is queried |
