What's New?
Improve Efficiency and Integration in Process Applications with the New FLEX 5000 I/O Modules
Our FLEX 5000 I/O portfolio expands its breadth of options to meet more application requirements. HART 8-channel analog input and output modules with Premier Integration in Studio 5000 Logix Designer® application help reduce downtime with additional Process diagnostics. With one design environment, you can configure easily and reduce design and engineering time. The additional new modules offer flexible and modular support for 8- and 32-channel digital, 16-channel AC and 2-channel SERIAL capability.
New Benefits
- Supports ControlLogix® 5580 controller redundancy for high availability applications from Studio 5000 Logix Designer® application, version 33 or later
- Allows access to highly-integrated HART devices available in the I/O tree
- Provides easy access to device health via the enhanced diagnostics
- Reduces engineering through tight integration with PlantPAx® 5.0 and above instruction set
- Simplifies maintenance with visibility to device tag diagnostics based on Device Description (DD) files
- Reduces downtime by adding and replacing Process devices online
- Increases productivity with easier device configuration of process devices via embedded device type managers (DTM)
- All modules are available in two variants, non-extreme environment (non-XT) and extreme environment (XT) with conformal coating options for added protection against environmental stresses
