Import/Paste Configuration dialog box - Configure Connections tab

Use this dialog box to configure connections when importing/pasting a program into a project.
TIP: To open the Import/Paste Configuration dialog - Configure Connections tab:
  1. Click
    File > Import Component > <component>
    .
  2. Select a component for import and click
    Open
    .
  3. On the
    Import Content
    pane, click
    Connections
    .
In this dialog box, configure connections to program parameters or controller scope tags that exist in the project. When importing a program or programs and the import operation for the program(s) is set to
Create
or
Overwrite
, connections can be configured in the
Connections
grid. Otherwise, if the import operation is set to
Use Existing
or
Discard
, the
Connections
grid will not be present.
The leftmost part of the grid provides an indication of the condition of the connection.

Indicates a row where content has changed and the change has not been saved.
LogDesPPErrorIcon
Indicates a row in which the connection endpoints are invalid due to a syntax error. When select
OK
to begin the import, an error message shows. Fix or remove the connection before proceeding.
red_flag
Indicates that the connection being imported will contain an error at the completion of the import. Proceed with the import, and the connection is created, but fix the error before downloading the project to the controller.
LogDesPPNewIcon
Indicates a row to create a connection.
