Clear the Alarm Log

Use the
Alarm Log
tab to clear the content of the alarm log from the controller.
IMPORTANT:
To clear the alarm log, the project must be online with the controller, but the controller must not be in Run mode. The user must have permission for the
Alarm: Clear Alarm Log
action in
FactoryTalk Security
.
To clear the alarm log
  • Select
    Clear Alarm Log
    .
    All messages in the alarm log are deleted, including messages that have not been delivered yet. Such messages will never be delivered to subscribers of the alarm log.
    A record that the alarm log was cleared is posted in the Audit Log in
    FactoryTalk
    AssetCentre software.
