Channel0x Diagnostics parameters

Channel0x Diagnostics
includes these parameters.
Parameter
Description
Value
Fault Exists
Shows whether a fault is present on the device.
  • None
  • Present
Data Uncertain
Shows the device is operating outside the designed operating range, or data is under manual or override control.
  • No
  • Yes
Field Power
Shows whether field power is present on the channel.
  • Not present
  • Present
Short Circuit Fault
Shows whether a short circuit or over-current fault (greater current at an output than the maximum current level the channel can handle) is present on the channel.
  • None
  • Present
No Load Fault
Shows whether a no load fault (a signal wire is disconnected from the output or the RTB is removed from the device) is present on the channel.
  • None
  • Present
Open Wire Fault
Shows whether an open wire fault (an output wire is disconnected) is present on the channel.
  • None
  • Present
Fault Timestamp (Short Circuit, No Load, Open Wire, Over Temperature Last Fault)
Shows the timestamp of the fault in YYYY-MM-DD-HH:mm:SS.mmm format.
  • YYYY = year
  • MM = month
  • DD = day
  • HH = hour (24 hour)
  • mm = minutes
  • SS = seconds
  • mmm = milliseconds
A valid time or None if there is no recorded event time.
Module Over Temperature Fault
Shows whether the device is operating at a higher temperature than its operating limits.
  • None
  • Present
Range
Shows the range for the most recently calibrated channel.
