Organize the imported tags

You can organize the imported tags into folders. The tags imported into
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
 remain synchronized with the controller after moving them into different folders.
IMPORTANT: We do
not
 recommend separating and reorganizing the tags contained in a structured tag since their initial structure is restored if the tag is synchronized again.
  1. In the pane, locate the
    Tags
     object associated with a
    Communication station
    .
  2. To create a new folder, right-click the
    Tags
     object and select
    New
    Folder
    .
  3. Move the imported tags into the folder.
