Activate a FactoryTalk Optix Runtime license

Use a
FactoryTalk Optix Runtime license
 to run
FactoryTalk Optix Applications
 without any limitations on client devices.
  • To activate an online client device through
    FactoryTalk Hub
    , open the license applet and log on to
    FactoryTalk Hub
    .
  • To activate an online client device through a license code:
    1. Obtain the license code from your organization owner or organization administrator.
      TIP: An organization owner or organization administrator can obtain the code from
      FactoryTalk Hub
      .
    2. Open the license applet and enter the license code.
  • To activate an offline client device through another online device:
    1. Obtain the license code from your organization owner or organization administrator.
      TIP: An organization owner or organization administrator can obtain the code from
      FactoryTalk Hub
      .
    2. On the offline client device, open the license applet and enter the license code.
    3. Move the
      Activation Request
       file from the offline device to the online device.
    4. On the online device, open the license applet and select
      Activate Offline
      .
    5. Enter the license code.
