Start page
The Start page opens when you launch
FactoryTalk Optix Studio
. It appears for you to create or open a project before you see the FactoryTalk Optix Studio
interface.The Start page allows you to open and create projects using three views:
Home
Create a
Default
project that contains all Project view
categories and a preconfigured main window or create a Blank
project that has no predefined content. Rockwell Automation
recommends creating Default
projects. You can search for a recent project or filter projects to see local or remote projects.New
Create a

Open a recent or remote project. When opening a remote project, enter a
Remote URL
to clone a repository and create a project with the same name as the repository, or enter a Location
