Rockwell Automation is changing its global pricing policy, effective July 1, 2022. This policy will result in a universal standard of Fixed Discounts. Fixed Discounts will be applied to all existing arrangements regarding pricing starting on October 1, 2022.
Rockwell Automation’s policy when selling standard hardware products had included various types of historic pricing formats. This policy is evolving such that Rockwell Automation will now exclusively use Fixed Discounts. Under the new policy, Rockwell Automation will generally commit to holding a customer’s discount fixed for a defined period of time on any standard hardware product. This arrangement ensures consistency of a known discount over time on purchases.
Additionally, the 12-month version of these arrangements will also be eligible for renewal on an annualized basis. The renewal process assists long-term customers who have ongoing long-term business. Discounts can be provided on Rockwell Automation price group codes or on any specific catalog numbers.
