Mike Loughran is Software, Control & Intelligent Devices Manager and CTO, EMEA North Region, at Rockwell Automation. He is also the host of a regular industry-trend podcast, called Management Perspectives, providing executive insights into the future of smart manufacturing.
Throughout his career, Mike has worked with manufacturing companies, both large and small, to advise and help set their automation strategy, helping them to achieve their productivity and sustainability goals through smarter use of technology.
Mike is passionate about helping businesses unlock the potential that a digital manufacturing strategy can provide, utilising and implementing disruptive technology alongside tried-and-tested automation and IT solutions, to enable productivity gains, harnessing the power of mobility, AI and data analytics in shaping the future of manufacturing for the better.
Mike is a proactive advocate for promoting better links between education and industry, to encourage partnership at all level of the business lifecycle. He is currently a member of the ISCF Manufacturing advisory board, the GAMBICA University & Industry Collaboration Council, and the Cranfield University robotics Advisory council.
