Alarm grid

Use the
Alarm grid
widget to display and manage alarms at runtime. The
Alarm grid
widget allows you to display and manage the alarms at runtime. View alarm information and acknowledge and confirm the alarms.
Each row in the grid indicates a change in alarm status. Acknowledge and confirm one or all alarms on the grid. The
Alarm grid
widget displays these columns of information:
Column
Description
Timestamp
Date and time of the last alarm event update.
Name
Name of the alarm object that generated the alarm event.
Source variable
Variable the event monitors.
Message
Message associated with the alarm event.
Active
Whether the alarm is:
Inactive
Active
Acknowledged
Whether the alarm is acknowledged or unacknowledged:
Unacknowledged
Acknowledged
Confirmed
Whether the alarm is confirmed or unconfirmed:
Unconfirmed
Confirmed
Severity
Level of alarm severity from 1 to 1000.
The
Alarm log grid
widget displays alarm events recorded by the configured event logger, such as the
Alarm History Grid
. Use the
Alarm History Grid with filter
widget to filter logged data.
You can customize the data that appears in the
Alarm grid
by adding additional properties to an alarm to create an alarm type. See Create an Alarm grid.
