Drive System Solutions
Project Management
Systems Engineering
All orders are assigned a lead project engineer who either completes the design solely or will oversee the design efforts of a team of engineers. This lead engineer has overall technical responsibility for the project, will define the implementation strategy, direct engineering efforts, set task assignments, manage manpower, review, audit and monitor the quality of the engineering and acts as a backup for the project manager. Our design engineers average over ten years' application technology with drive systems. They have a mixed skill and experience set ranging from various control products and process applications knowledge to HMI and hardware design engineering capabilities.
The project hardware, software and functional specification will be finalized during the design review process. These reviews are held both internally and with the customer. The internal review solicits comments from a panel of industry experts and is normally completed before the customer review. The lead engineer uses these reviews to ensure that our customer is receiving the best technical solution. He will review and utilize information from past projects, engineering standards and our best practices when defining the project technical specification.
In addition to the lead engineer, the systems engineering team consists of engineering technicians who create parts lists, cabinet layouts, finalize schematics and work with manufacturing during the build cycle and project planners who maintain project manufacturing tracking and expedite any shortages.
