Emonitor® — Operations and Maintenance Advisories

Gateways are the key to a successfully integrated Plant Asset Management (PAM) solution. These Gateways may be added as options to the base Emonitor system and serve as the portals that allow different plant systems to communicate by exchanging important data, giving you the important information you need to make critical decisions about asset management. With the Emonitor Asset Health Module and the EAM/CMMS Gateway working together, you can efficiently drive the execution of maintenance on your plant assets. For example, a statistical alarm in Emonitor detects a problem, identified by diagnostic tools in Emonitor as machinery imbalance. Based on the machine history stored in Emonitor, the condition monitoring analyst diagnosis the problem as debris accumulating on the rotor of the process air blower.

With the EAM/CMMS Gateway, Emonitor can automatically send the results of the analysis to the EAM/CMMS system to create a work order to clean the rotor. The analyst can track the work order in Emonitor as the work is approved, scheduled, and completed. The analyst can also verify the solution in Emonitor by looking at data collected after the work is completed. Gateways in Emonitor work with either the MRO Software MAXIMO product line or the DataStream MP2 product.
