• Can I try out Rockwell Automation Web-Based Training to see if this is something that is right for me?

  Yes. We offer a free 5-day trial of our web-based training. You can select and access one course of your choosing throughout the duration of your 5-day trial. To sign up, click here. Note: Five-day trials are limited to one trial per user.

• When does my 5-day free trial start?

  After you complete and submit the request for your five-day free trial, you will receive a username and password via email. Your five day trial starts when you receive the email.

• How is Web-Based Training purchased?

  Web-Based Training is initiated using an ePass, which you can purchase from your local Allen-Bradley distributor or Rockwell Automation sales office. ePasses can be purchased in single quantities or 5-packs, 10-packs, 20-packs, 50-packs and 100-packs.

• How is an ePass licensed?

  An ePass is licensed per user. An ePass entitles one student to unlimited access of one course/test for one year from the date of purchase.

• Are volume discounts available for ePasses?

  Yes. Volume discounts are available for purchases of 20 or more ePasses. See the Price and Ordering Information.

• Can I take course tests more than once?

  The first time you take the test for a course, it is automatically recorded as your score. You may take the test as many times as needed until you receive a passing score of 80% or better; however, once you pass the test, you cannot take it again. The last score recorded is your final score.

• If my ePass has expired, can I purchase more ePasses and extend the date without changing or loosing my existing account information?

  Yes. You may add on to your existing account or extend your time for another year by purchasing more ePasses. Please note that expired ePasses cannot be used after their expiration date.

• What is an administrator and how can I set this up?

  An administrator is someone designated in your organization to set up users for Web-Based Training users and manage ePasses. The administrator is responsible for designating which users are assigned to specific courses and tests, allocating ePasses to students, tracking results, and running reports.

• As an administrator, can I view a transcript report of all my students enrolled in Web-Based Training?

  Yes. Web-Based Training offers you the ability to track and manage student progress and test scores using the built-in Learning Management Tool called ToolBox. This also gives you the capability to run course, student transcript, and test activity reports. ToolBox is free with your purchase of Rockwell Automation Web-Based Training.

• How do I know what courses are available or have been added?

  For the most recent list of courses, access this website.

• Can I purchase ePasses from shop.rockwellautomation.com?

  No. To purchase ePasses, contact your local Rockwell Automation training coordinator or Allen-Bradley distributor.
