Sample Paging Configuration
A critical alarm temperature condition is present in a control process. An alarm condition generated by a Remote Access Paging Modem can be displayed on a alphanumeric pager as:
Tank # 7 is over temperature Current temp is 100 degrees Celsius
In the alphanumeric page, the alarm text is Tank # {N7:10} is over temperature Current temp is {N10:5} degrees Celsius. The variables 7 {N7:10} and 100 {N10:5} where embedded into the alarm text. These variables ( 7 and 100) are integer file values.
