China Certification - CCC Marking

The CCC (China Compulsory Certification) Mark is administered by the Chinese government agency Certification and Accreditation Administration (CNCA). The China Quality Certification Center (CQC) is designated by CNCA to process CCC mark applications.

The new CCC Safety Mark replaced the previous CCIB and CCEE mark. The new system went into effect on May 1st, 2002 and grants existing CCIB and CCEE mark approved products a 12 months conversion period. The Regulations for Compulsory Product Certification Mark provide general information on the CCC Mark requirements.

The products subject to compulsory certification are listed in the Catalog of the People’s Republic of China of Products Subject to Compulsory Certification ('Certification Catalog'). A First Catalog of Products Subject to Compulsory Certification has already been issued with an effective date of 1 May 2002.

Certain products in the Certification Catalog will be exempted if they are imported only for use by foreign embassies or in exhibitions in China. Products imported or produced for scientific research or testing purposes and products exclusively made for export under foreign trade contracts are also exempt from the compulsory certification requirement.

Additional information may be obtained from the US Department of Commerce - China Gateway page.

Please return to this page for the most current CCC Certificates as this site will be maintained with updated and new documents.
