PanelView 1400e
PanelView 1400e CRT graphic terminals offer optimum color VGA or SVGA pixel graphics and high-performance advantages. Data Highway Plus, Remote I/O and ControlNet options are available for communication with Allen-Bradley ControlLogix, PLC-5 and SLC 500 controllers. Available in touch screen or keypad models, the PanelView 1400e is designed to satisfy the most demanding process control applications.

PanelBuilder 1400e is a software package that runs on Microsoft Windows 3.1 or later, Windows 95, or Windows NT 4.0. With PanelBuilder 1400e you create and design control panel applications for PanelView operator terminals.
These control panel applications enable an operator to monitor and control automated plant processes.
The relationship between PanelBuilder, the PanelView terminal, and the PLC is as follows:
- PanelBuilder — The application is created in PanelBuilder on the development computer, and downloaded to the PanelView terminal using the Transfer Utility.
- Programmable Logic Controller — When communicating over a Remote I/O, Data Highway Plus (DH+), or ControlNet network, the PLC can either respond to queries or solicit information from the PanelView terminal and other input or output devices.
- PanelView terminal — The PanelView terminal displays the process status information sent from the PLC. This information enables the operator to make decisions about the process. The operator provides input back to the PLC.
