Using Proposal Works to access Allen-Bradley Short Circuit Current Ratings
STEP ONE: Determine Catalog Number
You can either Enter a complete Allen-Bradley catalog number
Or configure a product using the Product Selection Toolbox
STEP TWO: Analyze Results
An Interrupting rating represents a protective device (Fuses, Circuit Breaker)
An SCCR kA rating (Branch Circuit Component) will have multiple ratings listed. For instance, a contactor has a different rating based on its protective devices (Fuses or Circuit Breaker). If using a Molded Case Circuit Breaker or a a Motor Protection Circuit Breaker, you can select the appropriate device in your panel. See the example below:
