Hotel Reservations
Reserving a hotel room does not register you for Automation Fair. Be sure to visit the Fair Registration page to complete Automation Fair 2008 event registration.
New Hotel Reservations Cutoff Date: October 28th.
Deadline to make NEW reservations with the Automation Fair housing bureau is October 28th. Anyone needing a new reservation after October 28th will call the hotel of their choice direct and advise they are attending Automation Fair. If the hotel has availability in the block at the block rate, they will offer the Convention room rate. If Rockwell has sold out the contracted room block, the rate offered will be rack rate. After October 28th, the housing bureau will only be able to make changes and cancellations to existing reservations that were made on or before October 28th.
Housing Bureau Site Shutoff Date: November 7th.
After November 7th, all hotel transactions will be handled direct with the hotels. The Housing Bureau will be closed completely, and guests will need to contact their assigned hotels beginning November 8th.
Hotel Dark Period: October 29th – November 3rd
From October 29th through November 3rd, all guests should hold off on making changes or cancellations until November 4th. During this period, hotels will be downloading all Automation Fair room lists and updates. If you call the hotels during this "dark period," they may not have all information captured in their reservation system.

Hotel accommodations are based on availability of rooms for selected arrival and departure dates.
Rockwell Automation Employees
Hotel accommodations are based on availability of rooms for selected arrival and departure dates. A sufficient number of hotel rooms are being held to meet employee requirements. DO NOT utilize e-Travel or American Express Travel for hotel reservations.

Exhibitors
This does not apply to Rockwell Automation exhibits. A sufficient number of hotel rooms in Nashville of various price ranges are being held to accommodate all exhibitor requirements. A listing of designated exhibitor hotels can be found on the Automation Fair Exhibitor web site.
