Agenda
Utilizing Available Process, Mechanical and Electrical Data to Increase Facility Uptime with Asset Performance Management Solutions
Eric Fidler Director, Global Oil & Gas Sales and Marketing, Rockwell AutomationAcquiring the right information to lengthen the lifespan and improve the availability of production assets, including rotating equipment, is fundamental for oil and gas companies seeking to improve production and boost their bottom line. The complex nature of energy production, coupled with the large investments in assets by operating and production companies make the need to optimize asset performance greater than ever. Companies that have embarked on the journey toward production improvements are at a turning point. They've seen the early benefits from investing in asset management technologies and now are looking for ways to leverage operational metrics in conjunction with financial metrics to optimize performance across the enterprise. Asset performance management (APM), which empowers decision-making and aligns operations, maintenance and business strategies, is the focus of this presentation. An information-enabled APM solution aligns data throughout the enterprise through dashboards and automated workflows. Using dashboards and then automated analytics allows more accurate decision making while helping to achieve optimum performance.

Will McBride, Consultant, Alaskan Oil and Gas Industry
The presentation will provide a brief history of the use of motor controls in the Alaskan oil industry. It will give an explanation of the changes made over the past 30 years, as well as look at the present practices and a view into the future. The presentation will include the perceived benefits of using smart motor controls.
Asset Performance Management for Oil & Gas Industry
Mehul Shah, Research Analyst, Manufacturing Operations and Industrial Automation, Aberdeen Group
The competition and dynamics of the global energy market is driving oil and gas companies to minimize operational risk and optimize asset performance by ensuring smooth exploration, extraction, transportation, and delivery of oil and gas from remote production fields to consumer markets around the world. Join Aberdeen Group Analyst, Mehul Shah, as he shares some of the findings of his latest research in Asset Performance Management. This presentation will highlight the strategies and business process established by Best-in-Class companies to maximize Return on Assets in the midst of decreasing operational and capital budgets. Special attention will be paid to understand how leading companies are enabling visibility into maintenance and operations, and are providing information to the right people in the right form at the right time to make intelligent decisions impacting asset performance.
The Digital Oilfield of the Future - How Landmark is Using Rockwell Automation Technology to Make the Future a Reality
Doug Johnson, Product Manager Production Optimization, Halliburton Landmark
All major and multinational oil companies have created a digital oilfield strategy over the last three to five years. This strategy is essentially a roadmap for them to add integration, automation, workflow management, and optimization to their work practices. The end goal is to automate and optimize the upstream industry to the extent enjoyed by many other industries. Landmark has put together a suite of technologies from downstream industries aimed directly at this strategy. This presentation will show how those technologies have been deployed in several cases to rapidly progress the digital roadmap.
