Rockwell Automation Technology's Value Added Design Partners (VADPs) are companies that are referenced to develop products that utilize core and complementary technologies to Rockwell Automation. VADPs offer a host of services ranging from product design and development to manufacturing and branding. The function of the VADP is to assist other manufacturers with designing new or modifying existing products that use the same technologies employed in Rockwell Automation solutions. The VADP is encouraged, where applicable, to utilize technologies sub-licensed from Rockwell Automation Technologies, including communication stacks like the DeviceNet Master Library (DML).
