Desktop and web editors

is available as a web and a desktop development environment that you use to build
FactoryTalk Optix Applications
  and deploy them to client systems. You access

through
FactoryTalk Hub
.
If there is an Internet connection outage:
  • FactoryTalk Optix Studio web editor
    tries to reconnect to the Internet every 5 seconds. During that period, you cannot interact with
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio web editor
    . Once
    FactoryTalk Optix Studio web editor
    reconnects to the Internet, you can continue where you left off.
  • FactoryTalk Optix Application
    displays the message "
    Server unreachable
    " after 10 seconds. When the
    FactoryTalk Optix Application
    reconnects to the Internet, the application attempts to restore the user session and the interface displays.
