Install FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools
Prior to installing the Runtime Tools, use the Runtime Sizing calculator to determine the size FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools package that you need.
The size of each Runtime Tools package is based on the features that you wish to use in your application. You can activate FactoryTalk Optix Runtime on either an online or offline device.
You can launch the FactoryTalk Optix Runtime Tools and use them without any entitlement for two hours. After this time, you need to purchase an entitlement and allocate it to your organization.
IMPORTANT:
Runtime Tools are already embedded in OptixPanels™ and EEC (Embedded Edge Computes).
You have to download, install and activate Runtime Tools for Windows and Linux devices.
