Steve Eisenbrown
Senior Vice President, Strategic Development


Steve Eisenbrown is senior vice president, Strategic Development, for Rockwell Automation. He is responsible for driving our globalization strategy and laying the foundation for how we work and collaborate globally to best serve our customers.

In more than 35 years with the company, Steve has led Rockwell Automation into new business initiatives, new global markets, and new levels of financial performance.

Steve has served in a number of sales, marketing and leadership roles since joining the organization in 1976 as a sales trainee. Most recently, he was senior vice president, Architecture & Software, and grew that segment into a $2 billion global business. Prior to that, he served as president, Global Sales and Support, European Region; and vice president, Commercial Marketing, Automation Group.

Early in his career he held a number of managerial positions of increasing technical and leadership responsibility, including a leadership position during the acquisition of Reliance Electric, with whom he began his career.

In his time with Rockwell Automation, Steve has been instrumental in driving critical business initiatives, which include: development of the Integrated Architecture strategy; establishing the Asia-Pacific Business Center in Singapore; spearheading the company's expansion into the Information Solutions market; serving as executive sponsor of Rockwell's Global Process Transformation (SAP implementation); and championing the company's Culture of Inclusion work.

Steve is an active participant in non-profit work with the United Way of Greater Cleveland Board of Directors. He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Rose Hulman Institute of Technology in Terre Haute, Ind.
