Ted Crandall
Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer


Theodore D. (Ted) Crandall is senior vice president and chief financial officer of Rockwell Automation, a position he has held since October 2007. His responsibilities include all aspects of financial management, information technology, corporate development and contracts and pricing.

Ted served as interim chief financial officer from April-October 2007 and prior to that was senior vice president of the company's Control Products and Solutions segment.

His career at Rockwell Automation has spanned 33 years in a broad range of finance, operations and general management roles.

Previous finance roles included vice president and controller of Electronics Corporation of America, a company acquired by Rockwell Automation in 1986, and vice president of finance and business planning for the company's business unit that was the predecessor to the Architecture & Software segment.

Among his previous general management roles are vice president, Presence Sensing business; senior vice president, Industrial Control Group; and senior vice president, Components and Packaged Applications Group.

Ted serves on the board of governors for the National Electrical Manufacturers Association. He is also active in the community and is currently serving on the board of directors for Junior Achievement of Wisconsin.

Ted received a bachelor's degree in management science and economics and a master's degree in industrial administration from Carnegie-Mellon University.
