Allen-Bradley: A Century of Quality
Historic Archives — Harry Bradley Memoirs
Read inventor Harry Bradley's lost memoirs, re-discovered in 2003!
An edited version of a lost manuscript written by Harry Bradley, cofounder of the Allen-Bradley Company. Mr. Bradley, with help from professional writer Norman Beasley, began work on this document in 1957. The project was later set aside and left unfinished. Rediscovered in a company vault, during Allen-Bradley's centennial year, the manuscript offers fascinating insights into the company's early history, especially the incredible obstacles that the young entrepreneurs faced. A pull-yourself-up-by-the-bootstraps tale of two young entrepreneurs — brothers too poor to receive a college education — whose drive and enthusiasm overcame all challenges.
